It all depends where you’re from actually. If you are looking at Koreans as a Frenchman, they are pretty alright you’d say. If you are a Japanese, then they would probably be classified as ill-mannered.
And if you are somewhere in between, you’d say, they are under the weather. Seoul is as stressful as most cosmopolitan cities in the world are today, but they sure could use a few smiling lessons in the service industries!
Its a nice place to visit as I would put it, but not to stay. Pictorially, you’ve gotta get out of the capital to see the real South Korea or your perception of her would surely be skewed. Unfortunately, I had to remain in Seoul and hence the mixed feeling of how real I have experienced for the country.
