My Silver Lining – Hoya Pro1D ND4 77mm

Here’s what I did right for a change – the highly anticipated,  killer-combo of white ice and strong southernly sun against my ND4 filter.

Calming the digital nerves of the D5100, this wonderful accessory brought medicinal morphine to her image delivery under these overwhelming lights, making the most crazy scenarios appears child’s play to the camera. I cannot believe its seriously so different a result as per my conventional approach – EV compensation.

Sorry folks, you will only see my work from the D5100 and P7000 when I head home next week…

Can you let a full moon go by without shooting it? No, I could not.

600mm at F/22 (35mm equivalent).

Shot in monochrome, with adjusted contrast and sharpness thrown in for good measure…

To really get some decent shots, I reckon 1200mm and above.
